What is the price of your best R/O system? I was given a price of $2000.00 for an RO system but, I really don’t think my tap water is that bad though.
A:
Really? There is nothing wrong with your water?
It is unbelievable to us that, some people still tell us, “There is no reason to worry about our tap water!”, Really?
The photo below, shows a 20 micron filter (on the left) which, is filter number one of an RO pre-filter setup, after being in service for 30 days. The filter on the right, is the second filter and it is a 10 micron filter. These filters are both in a 20 inch pre-filter system which, is part of a drinking water RO filter system . Still think nothing is wrong with the water? This filtration system is in service, in Indian River County, Florida.
If we were not very thorough with our testing, we probably would not have caught the problem with the heavy amount of solid contaminants entering this particular home. It is very important, to catch all of the solids coming in from the water supply, to protect the RO membrane. The RO membrane is the most expensive part of the RO system and you will want to get as much service life out of it, as you can!
The first thing we always do, is test the water. We don’t just check the hardness and iron content, we check for other things as well. We will even check your water under a microscope to see if, solids may be an issue. When we know what is in your water, we know what to recommend, to clean it up. Our goal is always, zero contaminants!
For less than what you would spend on buying bottled water at the store for a year, you could have your own drinking water filter system which, can give you better drinking water, eliminate lugging bottled water home, for pennies a gallon. Plus, you will be able to put your filtered water into a nice stainless steal container and take it with you to work, to the park, jogging or anywhere else you go.

Don’t think, the $2000.00 R/O system you were quoted on, will do a better job just because, it is more expensive; it’s just more expensive!
