Water Conditioning
Virtually
any form of water treatment designed to improve the quality of water,
by neutralization, inhibition or removal of undesirable substances.
Water Hammer
The
shock wave produced by the abrupt change of water flow through a piping
system. Water hammer produces an instantaneous multiple increase in the
pressure normal to the system. The installation of a water hammer
arrestor will absorb these shock waves.
Water Softening
The reduction or removal of calcium and magnesium ions which are the principle cause of hardness in water.
